Engineer / Operator / BuilderBased in Vancouver, BC and Baghdad, Iraq

Building ambitious ideas into real-world systems.

I work at the intersection of infrastructure, energy, technology and execution, turning complex opportunities into businesses, projects and operating systems that can scale.

01 / Areas of work

Three disciplines.
One connected view.

01

Infrastructure

Large-scale industrial projects, EPC strategy, partnerships, operations and delivery.

The foundations of progress
02

Energy

Gas, power, renewables, storage and the systems connecting energy to economic growth.

The capacity to move forward
03

Technology

AI, sovereign digital infrastructure and software designed around how businesses actually operate.

The intelligence to work better

02 / Selected focus

Where I spend
my time.

01

Energy Infrastructure

Developing and structuring major gas, power and industrial opportunities, with a focus on projects that create long-term national capacity.

02

Digital Sovereignty

Exploring the infrastructure required for secure cloud, AI and data platforms that can be operated locally and scaled nationally.

03

Operational Systems

Designing software and workflows that connect tendering, projects, procurement, manpower, finance and management decision-making.

03 / About

Aymen Yaseen

Chief Operating Officer, ALMCO
Vancouver, BC and Baghdad, Iraq

Strategy is useful only when it survives execution.

I am an engineer and business operator working across Iraq's industrial and technology sectors. As Chief Operating Officer of ALMCO Commercial, my work spans business development, project strategy, international partnerships, operational systems and the commercial side of major infrastructure opportunities.

My broader interest is in how Iraq can combine energy, industrial capability, digital infrastructure and better operating models to create businesses that are both commercially valuable and structurally important.

04 / Perspective

The interesting problems are rarely purely technical or purely commercial. They sit between engineering, capital, people, policy and execution.

A connected way of thinking

05 / Contact

Let's build something consequential.
